Eastern Roadside Creations (ERC) was started by Carlin Al-Andas in rural Iowa.
Carlin "Bear" Al-Andas
Bear developed an interest in making blades at a very young age while living, hunting and hiking in Flagstaff, Arizona. It took several years for him to make the first blade that he was proud of. In 2016 he picked up bladesmithing as a hobby after several years off and by the next year found himself a full time Blacksmith/Bladesmith. He has remained a full time smith since 2017 and proudly supports his family with his craft.
Ashli "Ash" Al-Andas
Ash started making knives in 2019 and since then has evolved her leather work and graphic design skills to compliment her blade making skills. As a new maker she has been an unbelievably strong and integral part of ERC. Ash makes things when she can but currently she is focusing on being a mom to our beautiful three boys!
