About The Phoenix Forge
Portable
The Phoenix Forge has a built in carry handle and is designed for a tool free setup and tear down.
Flux Proof Chamber
Our Forge has a dual shielded Chamber. The first outer layer is 2" thick Inswool. The second Inner layer is 3000F rated castable refractory cement that has held up to wet welding better than we ever could have hoped.
Sturdy Tool Rest
We made sure to construct our tool rest out of Stainless Steel. It is constructed from 12g plate that is TIG welded 1/2 rods.
Quick Tune Burner
To make sure that smiths in every climate and elevation would have a leve and friendly playing field we have made a Frosty T-Burner with exposable ports that allow for nearly instant atmosphere changes. These tool free atmosphere changes can be a real game changer when welding. It also makes it very easy to control scale and decarb development.
Made in Iowa
Start to finish, this forge is made in Iowa. We use local sourced steel and refractory materials to make our forges. And we will not change that approach.
